VF Team Role:
Julie is our Admin Services Supervisor. She keeps the admin staff up to date on the day to day events and makes sure there is front end coverage, Doors are open and locked at the end of the day. She also makes sure phones are answered and the mail is taken to the Post Office each night. She trains the receptionist and file/admin people. She keeps the postage meter, copiers are up and running for the Oregon office. If she cannot fix them, she knows who to call. Julie deals often with our clients. She greets everyone with a smile and helping hands. She has been a great asset to VF Law since 1999.
Education:
Attended Brigham Young University – Provo, UT, and Portland Community College. Portland, OR. EMT Course for the State of Idaho.
Community Involvement:
Julie was a Certified EMT for Caribou County, Idaho for 2 years, and was The Red Cross Leader for Disasters in the North Gem District for 5 years. She was involved in the Lions Club Association, The March of Dimes Drive, Teachers Aid for North Gem, and a Reading Aid for Tualatin/Tigard School District. In charge of drives for The American Cancer Society and The American Heart Association. She volunteers every Saturday morning.
Personal/Family:
Julie now lives in Tigard, Oregon. The family had lived in a few states before coming to Tigard. Julie has 2 children that are grown. Julie loves nature, music, the country, quilting by hand not machine, sewing (she used to alter formals and wedding dresses), styling hair for formal occasions and weddings, reading, painting, cooking, creating and making new things. She grew up on a ranch, married a farmer, now lives in the city and misses the country. She enjoys attending sporting events, choir, piano and orchestra concerts. She is excited about what she can grow in this climate. Julie likes farming, misses it and goes back to Idaho out to the ranch as often as she can.
