Areas of Focus:
“Finding effective solutions to help create more housing that is affordable by design, condominiums, and planned communities is something I strive for. I am passionate about helping developers, HOAs, and local advisory boards navigate regulatory obstacles.”

Karna is detail-oriented and a natural problem-solver; these qualities fuel her approach to law. She is highly driven and strives to determine the best course of action for any issue new construction projects face. Her advocacy, policy creation, resolution methods, and documentation organization have built a profound practice that helps clients initiate projects and keep them running smoothly. She represents developers and HOAs concerning CC&R creation, document amending, document verification, interpreting regulatory landscapes, and facilitating the creation of planned communities and condominiums. Karna strongly supports limiting over-regulation and allowing developers the freedom to meet consumer needs relating to affordable housing, condominiums, planned communities, and other development projects.

With nearly 30 years of legal experience, Karna has a vast understanding of the intricacies of legislation and frequently advises her clients on the complexities of developing condominiums, housing, and planned communities. She helps ensure HOAs have proper procedures, follow statutes, and comply with laws. Her professional approach centers around a critical piece of advice she received from her early years as an attorney, “Behave in a way that lines up with the result you desire.” This has resulted in her being an eloquent, thorough, and dedicated lawyer who connects with her clients and secures successful outcomes on their issues.

When she is out of the office, Karna enjoys traveling, spending time creating memories with family and friends, and reading.
