“Whether through mediation, informal settlement, or litigation, my clients and I work as a team to find resolution. “Once we determine the most cost-efficient and effective way to solve an issue, I will go above and beyond to accomplish their objectives.”

Pragmatism and honesty are at the core of Michael’s legal philosophy. As a partner at the firm, Michael comprehensively represents homeowner associations of all kinds and strives to augment his clients’ goals with realistic resolution methods that achieve results. His practice assists with interpreting, amending, and enforcing governing documents, drafting resolutions, and litigation that includes construction defects, real estate disputes, and car and motorcycle injury. Whether a client’s goal is settlement or resolving a troublesome issue, Michael feels no greater accomplishment than reaching the results his client requests. Additionally, he is active in the local CAI chapter providing legal advice and insight to board members, and is a frequent speaker on all areas related to homeowner association law.

Driven by the mantra, “practice your own way and authentically be yourself,” Michael forged his path, starting as a research analyst in federal transportation policy in Washington D.C., before becoming an attorney. Since then, he has strived to differentiate himself from his colleagues as a down-to-earth, no-nonsense lawyer who gets the job done. Michael actively encourages his clients to consider all resolution methods and has successfully assisted homeowner associations with avoiding extensive litigatory expenses.

When Michael is out of the office, he enjoys motorcycle riding, playing the trumpet, going to the beach, and spending time with his two sons.
