While many know estate planning is needed, they may be apprehensive about the challenges of clarifying their priorities and making the right decisions for the future. Rob helps his clients navigate this process and focuses on fulfilling this important obligation while relieving them – and their families – of the burden and stress.
Rob provides legal and tax advice and counsels clients in preparing and implementing wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, gift planning strategies, charitable giving strategies (including charitable trusts), powers of attorney for financial decision-making, and advance directives for health care decision-making. When his clients have lost a family member, he is there to handle all complex legal matters compassionately, swiftly, and accurately.
His broad business and real estate experience is a natural outgrowth of his estate planning practice, with many of his clients seeking assistance with their businesses (corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies), contract and lease negotiations, and business succession planning. Rob often speaks at seminars about estate planning and has recorded podcasts where he shares his knowledge and gives back to his community through educational endeavors.
Caring and thoughtful in his approach, Rob’s greatest sense of professional accomplishment is helping his clients simplify a complicated and emotional area of life. He wants his clients to walk away feeling well-served and secure.
On a personal level, Rob is passionate about his family and sharing with his community – he serves as a church leader (and loves to preach). He also enjoys golfing and proudly states, “I’ve substantially improved my game at this later stage in my life.”
