
As a law clerk, Spencer conducted in-depth legal research on complex land use issues, drafting memoranda for nuisance and inverse condemnation claims and crafting public records requests for client inquiries. His policy research initiatives included analyzing legislative matters related to zoning, transportation goals, and post-conviction relief, which helped inform strategic decisions for clients.
Earlier in his career, Spencer served as a legislative intern, where he conducted policy research on significant bills, contributing to discussions on innovative topics like electric scooter regulations and renewable energy funding.
In his free time, Spencer volunteers at local food pantries, assisted living facilities and likes to play football, volleyball and golf.
