Attorney At Law Magazine published an article highlighting Ryan Harris’ recent Oregon Supreme Court win, which helps cement the attorney-client privilege precedent in the state. The article gives an overview of the Hill v. Johnson case, explains how Harris argued that malpractice documents fall under attorney-client privilege, and details the reasons why the case is important for setting a precedent for similar cases in the future.
“This is an excellent win for our team and our client, as well as the privacy necessary for malpractice law in Oregon,” Harris said of the victory. “No longer will protected documents and various other communications be utilized against a client. We thank the court for this proper decision.”
