Aaron Bell is an attorney at VF Law who advises businesses, lenders, and individuals on a broad range of business, finance and commercial legal matters. He provides practical, strategic counsel throughout a business’ lifecycle, helping clients navigate formation, governance, financing, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and/or dissolution. His practice also includes commercial and business litigation, lenders’ and creditors’ rights, bankruptcy matters, and commercial real estate transactions. He represents clients in contract and business disputes, business transactions, secured transactions, loan transactions, workouts and restructurings, construction disputes, and the purchase, lease, and sale of commercial real estate.
He is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington, and he regularly practices in both states on matters involving issues in various industries. Aaron was selected by Best Lawyers in America© in the field of Banking & Finance Law (2025).
In addition to his legal practice, Aaron is a regular speaker at seminars and other events in Oregon and Washington on various topics concerning the law and issues specifically related to lenders, businesses, and the agricultural industry, and he has prepared written materials and spoken on topics concerning the formation, financing, sale and purchase, and the succession of the ownership of businesses. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Agricultural Law Section of the Oregon State Bar and he has been active in the community through the pro-bono representation of entities as well as involvement with organizations, including the Rotary Club of Wilsonville, the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce, and the Canby School District.
