Greg works in VF Law’s Estate Planning Practice at its Oregon offices. It is his mission to craft estate planning documents in accordance with Oregon state law, and advise clients on matters concerning end-of-life planning and estate tax. Due to his legal expertise, Greg produces reports for probate and guardianship/conservatorship cases, and he handles the filing of legal motions related to estate accounting.
Greg, who is also an Army Captain and Judge Advocate for the Oregon National Guard Joint Domestic Operations Center, previously served as an Associate with both Weatherford Thompson and Strawberry Mountain Law. He attained a bachelor’s degree in history from the Washington State University Vancouver and earned his law degree at the University of Oregon. His first job after law school was Deputy District Attorney for Grant County in Oregon.
In his spare time, Greg engages in community-focused activities including serving on the Albany Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors.

Lars’s extensive legal experience grants him perspective on each unique legal situation regarding Community Association Law and the complex matters each HOA may face. In his practice, he is responsible for collections, covenant enforcement, insurance defense, document drafting, and serving as general counsel. Additionally, he has experience preparing matters for resolution through client management, drafting memoranda and exhibits, assessing relevant assets and liabilities, and negotiating settlements. At VF Law, his work entails drafting HOA board rules and advising on issues affecting the relationships between HOAs and residents.
For several years, Lars specialized in litigation, specifically investigating civil rights claims of harassment and discrimination, conducting interviews and debriefings, and investigating allegations of bullying and retaliation within the workplace. He has also assisted clients with their estate planning needs.
Lars enjoys being a helpful guide for clients, often navigating complicated legal statutes and complex legal documents—especially during some of their most challenging times. By keeping the client’s needs first and seeking sound legal outcomes, Lars continually works on their behalf to pursue a fair resolution.
