Maya JF Joslow is an attorney who supports VF Law clients with business, collections, trademark, and litigation matters. She helps clients protect their interests through practical legal guidance in commercial relationships, contract enforcement, collections matters, and disputes.
Maya brings experience in creditors’ rights, including drafting pleadings and motions, appearing at arbitration and court hearings, conducting legal research, and negotiating resolutions. She works with clients to evaluate available options, pursue efficient collection strategies, and address the legal issues that arise when obligations remain unpaid.
In addition to her collections and litigation practice, Maya has experience in business and trademark matters. She has prepared business-formation and governance documents, operating agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and service agreements. Her trademark work includes clearance searches, opinion letters, applications, Statements of Use, renewals, assignments, and responses to Office Actions.
Before joining VF Law, Maya practiced in creditors’ rights, business and litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury. She also maintained a trademark-focused solo practice and worked for several years as a trademark paralegal and law clerk.
Maya earned her J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School. She received her B.A. in Politics, with a minor in Psychology, from New York University. Maya is proficient in Spanish and conversational in Mandarin.
