He assists clients in insurance coverage and litigation, insurance claims, general litigation, and general counsel. Robert’s passion for representing clients relating to insurance issues has led him to consistently litigate complex matters involving condominiums and high-rises, financially challenged communities, and communities with deferred maintenance issues. Problem-solving and attention to detail are fundamental aspects of his practice; he deftly identifies the best strategies for success in complex cases and tailors his advocacy to attain his client’s desired outcomes. Robert’s most significant professional accomplishment was a defense verdict where he recovered tens of millions of dollars for associations involved in the case. He successfully established insurance coverage that was previously denied, which benefitted homeowners and homeowner associations.
Robert’s most proactive advice to clients is to always consult with a lawyer before making any major decision. He maintains a holistic and extensive understanding of the law and encourages clients to engage in conversations to better understand if they are protected and if there could be any potential areas of issue. He advocates for the importance of insurance because it offers significant protection when extensive damages occur. Additionally, he is an active member of AACM and CAI and speaks fluent Spanish.
